Meet the Crew

Capt Redtail and Elavoa

Capt Redtail lives by the code of the Jamaicensis. He leads his crew with fairness, acceptance, trust, hard work, and appreciation. He is willing to do any job on the ship in order to train the crew or to refresh and hone his own skills. His trusted and faithful hawk, Elavoa Crise, is always with him keeping an eye out for danger and opportunity.

Luecus Melano

Luecus Melano serves as the bounty master of the Jamaicensis. He oversees all monies, treasure, trade, and financial interests of the crew members. He is fair, honest to a fault, and has absolutely no compassion or mercy.

Nissus Harris

Nissus is rich. She financed the building and launch of the Jamaicencus. She loves life at sea and is working hard to master the blade and to learn to play the lute. She works along side the Bounty Master and the Quartermaster in her position of campaign underwriter and co-captain.

Sonni Swain

Sonni is third mate and apprentice to surgeon Regalis. She is not afraid of blood and there is no wound or injury that can challenge her instantaneous triage skills. She also has a hobby of painting and drawing.

Halia Etus

Halia is a happy and fiesty deckhand who works harder than anyone in the crew and always has a smile. However, in conflict she becomes a cool and steely fighter. She loves to eat very hot peppers.

Uni Cinctus

Uni is the identical twin of Sing Sangue. She works as gunner and trimmer and can time a fuse to go off at the exact moment needed. Uni plays the lute and sings pirate shanties all the time.

Cooper Gabar

Cooper Gallus Gabar keeps supplies safe from water and vermin. He is a friend to all the crew and spends time drinking and laughing with each one. He is secretly in love with Sirkiss but would never reveal it.

Shikra Badius

Badius is the trusted first mate of Capt. Redtail. They have been sailing together for over ten years. She is quiet, reserved, and highest master of the blade.

Brevi Lavant

Brevi is a sailor and sultry and ruthless pistoleer and sharp shooter. She is pure muscle despite her petite frame and can hit a target from a quarter mile away with her long barrel.

Solo Ensis

Solo is the ship chef. She is known for her culinary creativity in a pinch with even the barest of ingredients. Solo is also fierce in hand to hand combat and is always one of the first into the fray. Solo is always on the lookout for rare spices and herbs.

Cirro Gularis

Cirro is the flamboyant boatswain and deck boss. He holds himself above all but the Capt. He has a collection of expensive dresses he wears from time to time.

Sirkiss Lago

Sirkiss is a mate and apprentice to the ship's navigator. He can read the stars and plot a course in dense fog. He is also a prankster, heavy drinker, and breaker of men's hearts.

Sing Sangue

Sing is the co-gunner. she has a love of cannons, grenades, and all things that explode. With her sister Uni, she can fashion bombs with various and deadly purposes. She once blew up half a Spanish prison to free her sister.

Albica Regalis

Albica is the medical doctor and surgeon of the Jamaisensis. She has the voice of an angel, plays the cello, and can run as fast as the wind. She loves animals and keeps a regal coon, Ferru, as her pet. Ferru is the expert ratter on board and is adored by all save Blister.

Blister Goshawk

Blister is a barrelman and spotter. She can climb the nets like a spider. She prefers to be in the Crow's Nest even in high seas and storms. A lover of all birds, she is a scrappy fighter and will kick your ass.

B.B. Buzzard

B.B. is the colorful and foul deckhand who has been at sea for so long he cannot stand up on dry ground. That may also be due to his heavy drinking. He is a master gambler which he uses to win extra rations of rum from the crew.

Apolo Mado

Apolo Mado is the quartermaster in charge of the wellbeing and safety of the crew. He is a dead shot pistoleer and can draw maps from memory.

Anathra Cinn

Anthra is dark and mysterious. She is a spritual medium and ship shaman. She works magic with dark spells. She can read palms, practices tarot, and she is a tantric genius. She oversees the spritual and sexual well being of the crew.

Sarellus Collis

Sarellus has no position of rank on the ship but operates secret and stealthy missions at port. She has a verbatim knowledge of laws and customs around the world and operates a vast network of connections and informants.

Albo Tinitus

Albo is the ship's sailing master and official storyteller. He can spin any tale from history, fantasy, people, and current events. He listens to everything and has perfect recall of conversations.

Viento Notatus

Viento is the ship's engineer and alchemist. His nose is always in a book or a sketchbook as he is designing and creating new inventions and systems. He is a calm and steady voice of reason and his advice is sound.

Rufo Fuscus

Rufo is the ship's carpenter. He is shy, genuine and keeps to himself and his work. He can scupt wood like butter and make the most intricate wooden toys and tools. He keeps a stash of cannabis and barters with the crew.

Linny Attus

A fellow ginger on the Jamaicensis, Linny is the sassy and fiery steward. She has a way of putting others at ease and bringing out any information she wishes through conversation. She cusses constantly.

Magni Rostriss

As second mate Magni stands the night watch and has the eyes of a cat. She has a sense of impending danger and can often feel a threat before it has presented. Her keen intuition is respected and trusted.

Nika Melierax

Nika serves as the pilot and helmsman. She has a grip of steel and an arm of iron. She also has the sultry voice of a siren and can seduce anyone, any gender, anywhere.

Elavoa Crise

Elavoa is a beautiful and elegant Red-tailed Hawk. She is the constant companion of the Capt. She soars high above the ship looking for fish, danger, and opportunity. The crew believe she can actually talk to the Capt.
